Do you want to be a student leader at MHS? Class officer elections will be next week. If you would like to run for an officer position, see Ms. Foreman in Room 2051 or message her on Schoology by Friday, April 25. Class officers are in charge of organizing their Homecoming hallway, games, and spirit as well as numerous school spirit/service activities throughout the school year.
MHS Decision Day is coming up on May 1st. Juniors and Seniors are invited to attend our ceremony honoring Seniors who have made the decision to go to college, enter the workforce, or enlist in the military. Seniors can sign up to participate in the ceremony on the MHS Graduation Website or with the link on the MHS Dog Pound Instagram.

Good Times and Glitz Show Choirs will be holding auditions for next year's group during next week. Auditions are available for singers, band, and tech members. Find more audition information on GT's instagram (@goodtimeswv), scan a flyer in the hallway, or stop by to see Ms Cowan in room 1133.
The 2025 Prom Court Nominations are in! On the Junior Prom Court is Brayden Armolt, Mikey Dillard, Ryan Spiker, Mason Walley, Aubrey Flanigan, Karina Gonzalez, Syrah George, and Avianna Smith. On the Senior Prom Court is Brady Breeden, Koi Fagan, Taven Parsons, Dallas Richards, Addy Strovel, Mia Rivera, Eva Craigie, and Cara Anderson. Please come to room 2008 to pick up information about pictures on Monday. Voting for Prince, Princess, King, and Queen will be on Wednesday in Advisory.

Monday- Celebrity Day (Dress like a celebrity)
Tuesday- "Old Sport" (Jersey Day)
Wednesday- White Lies Day (Wear a white t-shirt with a white lie on it)
Thursday- Decade Day (Dress like any decade between now and 1920's)
Friday- Gold and Glamour (Wear anything gold or anything glamorous)
Prizes will be given to three students in each lunch, each day next week, who are dressed the most on theme! The top two students who are voted by teachers for having the most involvement all week will be crowned Mr. and Miss Pep at Prom!
Prom Tickets will be on sale to Juniors and Seniors during all 3 lunches starting Wednesday and ending Thursday, May 1st. Tickets are $40 each, cash only.
Summer School applications are now available in the School Counseling office. The schools will receive Summer School applications until May 23, 2025. If you have failed a graduation required class or would like to take Health, PE, or Driver's Ed, Summer School is a good option. If you have any questions, reach out to your School Counselor.
